Abstract

Vaginoplasty is a surgery which is done to create a new vagina in women. There can be surgical and non surgical methods of vaginal creation. Among Surgical methods mentioned, the McIndoes method and the Williams vaginoplasty have been very commonly performed till recent past. Now with more surgeons becoming comfortable with Minimal Invasive Surgery, Davydov’s, sigmoid or caecal conduit methods and Vichietti methods are also being used. No one method can be stated to be the best. Surgeons can select the method they are most comfortable with. In this current article, we will be discussing the vaginal route of vaginoplasty.
