Abstract

Uterosacral ligament is considered to be the best reliable option for suspension of pelvic organ prolapse. The procedure maintains the vagina in its normal anatomical position. All three routes: abdominal, vaginal and laparoscopic routes are equally preferred for this type of procedure with similar results. Laparoscopic route has an advantage of better visualization. Ureter is the most important structure which needs special care during the procedure.
